Earlier this year, in spring, news cought me that i was one of the winners of the Trierenberg Super Circuit and i was invited to the grand evening - the Gala of Photography in Linz (Austria). As you surely can imagine, i had to read that e-mail more than once until i finally realize, i'm not dreaming.
Trierenberg is the world biggest photocontest and this time there was a total submission of about 110.000 (in words onehoundredandtenthousand!) images from 110 countries all over the globe. Amongst those were the 14 picture i had submitted in several categories which got me a result of 30 acceptances and the goldmedal in the section "Nightphotography and artificial Light".
The gala was held 13.oct., in the Design Center in Linz on - which is a fantastic congresscenter. It was an awesome evening which i will have on my mind for a long time. I had the chance to meet
some fantastic and interesting people (all of them crazy about photography) - here are some pictures fom the awarding ceremony and a little impression of the exhibition.
Etwas früher, im Frühling diesen Jahres gab es bereits die Ergebnisse des Trierenberg Super Circuit und für mich damit die Nachricht, dass ich nicht alleine nur 30 Annahmen mit meinen 14
eingereichten Bildern, erreicht hatte - ein Bild davon wurde sogar in der Kategorie "Nightphotography and artificial Light" sogar mit der Goldmedaille ausgezeichnet.
Trierenberg ist der grösste Fotowettbewerb de Welt und wurde diese Jahr mit 110.000 eingreichten Bildern aus 110 Ländern dem Ruf als "Oscar der Fotografie" einmal mehr gerecht.
Die Gala der Fotokunst fand am 13. Oktober im Design Center Linz statt und es war ein fantastischer Abend der mir noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Ich hatte die Möglichkeit einige
fantastische Leute kennenzulernen und alle der Fotografie verfallen - hier gibt es noch einige Eindrücke von der Preisverleihung und der Ausstellung.
